A new type of Day Care
We are excited to announce we are introducing a new approach to our daycare, transforming it into a time of discovery, learning, and expression. To lead this initiative, we have enlisted the expertise of Lana Cipek, new member of our team, who will serve as the new daycare facilitator. Lana will engage the children in a variety of entertaining and educational activities, fostering curiosity and artistic development through games, singing, drawing, crafting, theater, and more. With extensive experience in youth animation, Lana has worked in France (at colleges and MJC) and Finland (Lapland Safaris). Fluent in French, English, and Croatian, she is also an active member of the theater troupe TEATAR TIRENA in Zagreb and participates in traditional Croatian dance and singing with KUD Croatia.
New services
As part of our commitment to enhancing services, we now offer an expanded range of activities accessible through Services+. Notable additions include:
CYBER CLUB: A programming initiative for all ages, introducing children to new technologies such as Scratch for younger ones and Python for older children. Recognizing the importance of Python in recent AI developments, we aim to position our children advantageously in these technologies.
THEATRE CLUB: Designed to develop self-confidence, expression, and communication skills, all while having fun. Lana Cipek's wealth of experience with theater troupes makes her an excellent fit for leading this club.
DAY CARE CONVENIENT PACKAGES: For parents who regularly enroll their children in daycare, we have introduced an automatic monthly renewal option. This allows you to choose two days each month (excluding Wednesdays) for your child, providing flexibility and convenience.
Our CM1-CM2 Ski Trip: promises exciting experiences on the slopes and registrations are now open through Services+.
Services+ success
We are pleased to announce a remarkable success rate of 97% in activities’ payment registrations, thanks to the efficiency of our web platform, Service+. Through Services+ and its associated app that tracks real time payments and status for kids we are managing to ensure fairness and find resources to launch new exciting initiatives. Big thank you to all of you that have helped making out of this a great success!
Carnival is almost here
We are organizing the best carnival ever and in anticipation of Carnival on February 13th, we encourage families to prepare costumes in advance. Additionally, if any parents wish to assist with pancake making in the primary section that morning, your contributions would be greatly appreciated.
Other information
Marija Cacija, from the Grande Section Maternelle, will be participating in a professional development stage at AEFE in Athens from Monday, February 5th, to Thursday, February 8th. During this time, students will be supervised by Inès Popović and Jasmina Melić.
For our middle school students (6th to 9th grades), we have prepared an exciting outing planned on Friday, February 9th, to the Klovicevi Dvori Gallery. The day will include a guided tour of an exhibition showcasing the work of Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrović, followed by a stroll through the city center to explore additional artworks by Mestrović in Zagreb. The departure from school is scheduled for 10:30 AM via organized bus, and we anticipate concluding the excursion between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM in front of Hrvatsko Narodno Kazaliste (HNK), Trg Republike Hrvatske 15.
